Slight change for future spelling tests...

The third grade class has done extremely well on the first 12 lists of spelling words! It seems as though even the challenge words are not tricky enough!

Therefore, in the future, words previously given as "challenge" words on each spelling list will be considered ordinary words. A score of "100%" on a spelling test will now require students to correctly spell 24 out of 24 words.

I will closely monitor the progress of our class with this new change to our spelling test grading process. Should a student need extra practice or feel overwhelmingly frustrated, please let me know.
